Beware of credit card offers from Capital First! I got a call from a "Robert Collins" at 866-892-6018 (or so he said) offering a credit card, with no credit check, with a limit of $2,500 and a balance transfer up to $15,000. I never give out information over the phone to people I don't know, but this guy was good. And I almost thought he might not be a crook, until I asked for the website address. It was a.org address. Unless you are a non-profit, you can't get a.org address. I asked if they were a credit counseling service, to which he said yes. And then I said, but you're offering credit cards and financial services, clearly a FOR PROFIT venture! He started stuttering, kept going back to my checking account information... Needless to say, I hung up soon enough. But I wanted to see if anything came up about them on the web, and sure enough, there are a ton of complaints.
Beware folks. These guys are good. Just don't give out your information to anyone over the phone!!!
