I was told that I was approved for a $5000 loan but needed to send $759.60 for 5 months prepayment by money gram due to my credit. Stupidly I did it thinking it was a reputable business. I was dealing with loan officer James Canton. I signed loan documents and everything. After wiring the money the next morning I get a call from a different gentleman named Frank (couldn't make out the last name) and he advised me that Mr Canton had wrongly told me it was 5 months prepayment when it was actually 10 months prepayment. Of course I could NOT come up with an additional $759.60. Because I could not they would have to issue me a refund for the money I had already sent, BUT they would have to do it as a paper check refund. Ok now WHY if they supposedly would wire the money to my account if I came up with the additional money could the NOT just wire my refund to my account??? Also I asked to speak with a supervisor and he stated that he is a senior loan advisior and is the supervisor. Yeah right, he HAS to have a supervisor above him. Please don't get taken like I did.
