I used to have a house (in Michigan) financed by Chase Home Finance (actually they purchased the note - FHA - from a local bank. Once I got behind on payments due to the recession, it was all over!!! They agreed to put me on a repayment plan but failed to tell me they would add-in and balloon another $9,000 after I had paid back all principle, interest, and normal penalties; they added lawyer fees, extra bonus penalties, and stole 2k out of my escrow. PLUS, they added another 12k onto my principal!!! All for 3 payments that I had to make up by paying 1.5 payments every month for 18 months!!!
I have complete documentation showing the embezzlement, fraudulent accounting, and their statements denying it (even though they sent it all). It's funny how you trust the Bank to do the prudent and legal thing, then you find out reality is the Bank does what it wants, the courts let it, and the politicians appreciate the donations to their campaign funds. Is there any attorney who can help with a Class Action suite or individual law suit?
