At least I consider it fraud.
I recently discovered this that Creditors Interchange fraudulently transferred a $7,188.30 debt to my Discover card without my knowledge or without contacting me regarding the debt beforehand. This debt is not mine. I do not understand how a company can do this without my knowledge? How did they obtain my Discover account number? How can Discover account managers allow this to happen? Aren't signatures required? Were laws broken? Do I need an attorney?
When I rebutted this transaction with Discover they were unwilling to remove the debt and provided me the telephone number to CI. What gives? Advice?
