our company paid Travelers Tax Group a total of $5,500.00 for tax resolution services, and were assigned an attorney to complete an Offer in Compromise with the IRS. We were told by the attorney that our company needed to make timely payments for a nine month period before an OIC could be considered.
After completing nine months of payments, we then received a notice of resignation from the attorney, stating that he had not been paid his fees by Travelers Tax Group.
I sent emails to Travelers in October and again in January and have had no response to either. Our company is now out the $5,555.00 that we paid (a debt we certainly can't afford at this point) with no communication whatsoever from this company.
This should be refunded in full, but because the paperwork I received from them includes several different names, I suspect that there is some fraudulent activity involved - they are also knows as the Tony Robert Tax Group, Professional Tax Advocates, and All State Tax Groups.
