Bank Of America
MBNA Express Payment. $12 fee for Bill Pay Choice for MBNA Card and

Bank of america's express pay ripoff:

This is the second time that I try to pay my bill using bank of america ON the "due" date, and can't. When bank of america bought MBNA, they changed my due date from the 27th to the 24th and when I tried to pay online on the 24th my bill, the system tells me the only way I can pay on that date is if I use "Express pay"... Nowhere in that page, they tell you that "Express pay" has a $12 fee, but according to the service representative I had to agree to their terms to use the site.

The service is terrible (indication that they are having a lot of problems with customers — this service representative told me that ALL supervisor was in a "meeting" and asked for my telephone and said I would be called within 24 hours, I didn't believe her and called again and talked with another representative that passed me his supervisor). The first time I bit the bullet and paid the fee, but the second time I had to hear the supervisor and service representative basically call me irresponsible for paying at the last moment and look into my record and tell me that I had paid late once! Before they told me they would remove my "fee" (still to be seen).

The interesting thing is that they don't allow to pay on the due date on a weekday during work hours from the same bank (I was trying to use my bank of america account to pay).

Anyways, ripoff from bank of america everywhere:
1. When they bought MBNA, they changed my due date.
2. The due date is not really the due date, since you have to schedule your payment at least a business day before the "due" date.
3. Bank of america payment site only allows you to pay on the "due" date if you use the "Express pay".
4. The Express payment option doesn't tell you that there is a $12 fee, nor is there any explanation (didn't find it).
5. Representatives imply that you are irresponsible for for paying on the "due" date. This comes very easily to them, they might just tell everybody the same thing.
6. Irresponsible service representatives evade calling their supervisor when asked.
7. Supervisors look for your previous records to try to create a pattern and imply that you are irresponsible.

I usually pay my month's balance and have very seldom paid late. I feel like I have been treated unjustly here.
