When the new owners assumed the note, they defaulted five years later. Greentree came after us! Telling us they bought Conseco out. I said our note was with conseco, and when we put in our Acc# it matched someone elses name. Greentree threatened to sue us for default or repossession, and we said we haven't owned that home for 5 years. Well we never heard from them again!
On our credit report it shows paid in full still by Greentree. Today I got an alert saying Conseco has repoted us as default as of the home as of 4/18/07. On top of that Conseco has not contacted us! On our credit Report it shows no open date, no amount and most important no account#.
