I recieved a letter from "First Premier Bank" about a year ago, and they told me i was approved for $250. I thought it would be a good way to start establishing credit for me and my new family. So i was lead to believe i had credit card of $250. I have been paying the minimum for a little over a year ($20). I payed off a few things (Car!) and went to my main bank and got approved for a "Real Credit Card". So i called there Customer Service (Very Rude!) and told theme i would like to cancel there card.
They told me that i owe them $219. I have never even spent $20 on the card! So how do i owe them $219 when i have paid them $20 for over a year and i have never even spent that money. Which you cannot even spend that unless you have paid into the card with more money! What is the proplem with this situation?
I fill totally miss lead! (Which i was!) For companies which take advantage of good people like me and you all i have to say is you have it coming. I'm better off paying $20 a month to keep building more credit history thin paying them $219 which i do not owe them. It comes down to the principle of the matter!
I was taken advantage of and it feels like theres nothing i can do. Please let me know if there is any action i can take to help myself and other people that have been taken advantage of by this company! (First Premier Bank!)
