First off i would like to say First Premier Bank has many problems.
1. Rude customer service
2. Threatening Phone Calls for "late payments"
3. $180.00 Fee for getting a credit card
4. Making charges to ones credit card that the owner should notice they never made.
5. Ripping off many many people, then still acting like their not at fault.
So yes I too once had my parents look over the credit card offer and info and they said it looked like a good deal. I get a credit card from First Premier Bank that is 250.00 card. There is already 180 dollars in activation fees and mysterious fees. Then after i cancel the card with about 3 different people the card is still active and getting late fees and charges after i have destroyed the card.
So i call my states attorney they take the matter into their own hands, we receive a 0.00 dollar balance from First Premier Bank. Along with a sucking up to me letter saying we are cleared of all charges and shall not be bothered again. Now every 6 months we get a letter saying we still owe them almost 400 dollars.
