Dishonest, Empty Promises, Keeps Money They Say They Will Give Back If Loan Not Found, Home loan company that promises they can get you a loan, takes $450 dollars to start process, Internet

Sometime in February of this year, we were shopping for a new home loan for our house in Arizona. I was talking to a lot of different companys and eventually narrowed it down to Home Capital, Inc. We were working with a Michelle Bishop who seemed very trustworthy and said she would work hard to find us a loan.

She told us that she needed 450.00 to move ahead and to show that we were serious. We told her that things were tight and that we wanted to make sure that the 450.00 was either going to go towards our loan or that it would be refunded if she could not find one for us. She stated over and over that that would be no problem.

We gave her the information for our credit card and she then faxed us paperwork that she said we needed to sign. We signed the paperwork and also again, told her that the paperwork states that we would NOT get our money back... She repeated again, that she promised us that we would get our 450.00 back either towards our loan or if she could not find a loan for us.

Michelle got all of the info for the house and had an appraiser appraise it, and the house came in lower then we thought. She told us that since it came in lower, that she would do more research for another loan, and would get back to us the next day.

The next day came, and then the next day. My husband called and left numerous messages for her, throughout the week. Finally, with no return calls from her, we asked for her Supervisor. We explained what had happened and he said he would look into it.

The next day, we recieved email from Michelle stating that she was sorry that she "Mislead" us and that she could not find us a loan. After recieving this email, we made numberous calls to different people, a Glenn Sedgewich (Supervisor), Pamela Dabbs (Executive), and we also reported all of this to the BBB.

The company and all of them kept repeating the same thing, that Michelle never promised us that, and that the paperwork we signed stated that it was non-refundable.

And here we are today, out 450.00, been promised by Pamela, that she would send out all of the paperwork done on our loan, and as of today, April 18, we have not recieved a thing. These people are liars and they need to be stopped.
