I worked for True Software and they make me sign for an Amex Corp Card that they applied for.in order to receive reimbursement on business travel and expenses I was forced to use the Corp Card.
True software had a history of paying expenses late, which caused me to pay Amex late. At the time of my resignation True Software owed me six months of expenses totaling $11,000.00.
I provided Amex written documentation of emails where the CFO and his assistants admitted owing me but said there were not funds to do so. There was never a dispute as to the validity of the expenses on the Corp Card. All charges with valid per our corp business travel guidelines. I send most documentation to Amex via ceritified mail and all were receieved and signed for.
Amex, with proof in hand, let my debt ridden employer off the hook for monies owed to me for valid business travel and expenses and chased me for the entire balance. Amex let True Software sign a waiver for all monies owed to me without even seeking any proof or audit of card charges. Amex does not make any effort to validate charges, they just let the employer, card applicant, off the hook.
The biased and irresponsible business practices of Amex put me through hell.
