I was hired in Oct by Houston International Promotions, Inc, a part of parent company, Texas International Promotions Inc to work. The ad stated that they were looking for an accounting person.
The first interview was quick and did not cover a lot. I was called and told to come at 9am the next morning to see what I would be doing. The "second" interview constisted of going out in the field and selling for D.A.R.E. I was not able to return until 7pm that evening. Then I was told that I would not be paid for the day. I had already made the commitment to work the next two days. I did so, again being at the office at 8am and not returning until 7pm. After two days, I requested my pay and that I would not be working for them anymore. The manager's name was Nadia Mohamed, cell 404-644-2699. I was hired by the supervisor from Dallas, Keith Ceno, cell 678-634-6738. I have contact Nadia numberous times to get my pay. I was always told that the check would be coming.
Finally, the week of March 30th I went to the office at 100 E Nasa Rd 1 Suite 309 Webster, Tx to "pick up" my check. I soon found that the office had been closed for 2 months. Nadia had not indicated anything about the office being closed down. She stopped returning my calls. After much searching, I located Keith's number.
I called it today and when I told him who I was and what I wanted, Keith hung up on me. I called again and he did not answer; however, I did leave a message. I was looking up Texas International Promotions in search and I found this site and the fact that others have reported them. I worked for this company despite their false ad, and their so-called second interview for 2 days until I realized that DARE did not get most of the money that was received. I would like some help to get the money that is owed me.
