500 Fast Cash, United Cash Loans
Ripoff, unethical practices, threating

I obtained a loan from both 500 Fast Cash and United Cash Loans. I got several loans from them and paid them off everytime before they were extended. They always received my faxes. Well, this last time, they didn't receive it. And they charged be two times to extend the loan.

I tried to contact them and it was nearly impossible. I had to search everywhere for a phone number. I never even got one, I had to email someone and wait for them to call me back. When someone finally contacted me, I told them my situation and they didn't care. She said that I owed the full balance and that they were not going to take off the extension fee. The lady told me that there was a number at the end of the contract and I should have called it. And there wasn't, I saved every contract.

Well, I closed my account so that they couldn't get the amount, and told them to take me to court if they had to. I didn't hear from them for a while. Then all of a sudden I get a call at my job, I told them not to call me at my job. They said ok. A week later, I received another phone call at my job from another girl, she tried to tell me that she will continue to call me at work, I told her again, to not call me at work and ended the call. TWO hours later, they called my cell phone.

The next day, another girl call me. The girl told me that if they have a work number, that they are going to call me at work, and will call me two times because I have two accounts.

She told me that when she calls back she will ask for a supervisor, I told her I am, she said fine that she will ask for my manager. She said that is a disgrace that I had to go get a loan through them, that I should let everyone know that. I told her she can't call me.

I know the collection laws, I work in a collection agency. They tried to tell me they are 1st party, regardless, they have to follow the same laws. THey made it known that they are the collection part of the company and that they are collecting on another loan as well.

So, I call back, and talk to a supervisor. I told him I do not want anymore calls at home, or work, and do send me something in the mail. I told him I would send him a cease and desist letter to stop calling. I told him I wanted to make a formal complaint on the girl that I had just got off the phone with and he said that he doesn't see anyone that was just in the account. I told him I just got off the phone with her, why would I be calling right back? I told him I will be sending a cease and desist letter via fax. I typed one up, and faxed it to them.

Low and behold, I received ANOTHER call from them the next morning. It was an automated system, so i called back and another supposed supervisor answered the phone. I told her I send a cease and desist letter and they were not to call me. I wasn't at work that day, but I am sure they called there. When I told her I didn't want anymore calls at work, she made it seem as though they had already called me at work. She said that I need to have to get a letter from an attorney to have them cease and desist all communication! She said that they have to contact me some how. I told her, fine, then call my cell phone.

I know I owe the debt, I will pay it, when they knock off half of it, the original amount I owe. However, them calling me at work, when I have told them numerous times, is not going to get them paid. I don't care at this time if they report to my CBR. They keep up these antics, and I am going to file a formal complaint at my attorney general's office. I already looked into it, I know that they cannot call my job, letter or not, they CANNOT call my work.
