It started with a bank called columbia home loans llc in ny. They were the original bank when the the problem occured. I called them a few days after closing to tell them the home collapes. The said call insurance company. So i did and after a $3200 policy they said they denied the claim because it was structure damage that they do not cover and i got only what the bank wanted. I mean what di know of home insurance. First time for me.
Then the bank sent some of thier executives to see the damage and mind you this was at 930 at nite. They said they should of never let the loan go through because they could see it in the apraisal. I had an engineer check it out also and they said they do not pull off siding to check underneath. Thats where the problem arised from in beetween the siding / then all i know was they said they would help me.
Now i get a letter in the mail saying the loan was trasfered to welshire. Now welshire said i was on my own. Ive invested all my saving to rebuild. Over 50,000 in loans and personal money ive never been able to live in the home. The house is a 3 family hom. E the current tenants are sueing me. The were put out by the buildings dept. I had to pay for thier moving fee architect fees fines violations everything i never dreamed of and welshire is saying to me that they are going to foreclose on me.
The old bank knew of the problem and sold it to them with wall collapse. What am i top do. Im still fighting this. They just call me sayingpay the mortgage. Im almost done fixing the home. Just need minimal time but now after ive fixed the colateral for them they want to take it from me. Its not fair. All my savings gone. Ive told them that i will start making payments in the next 2 months but they dont care. They want back pay. This house falling wasnt my fault. I was an innocent buyer who knows nothing about houses and complyed with everything they wanted. Now im the bad guy.
Imagine you buy a house and it falls down 5 days later. I didnt even have the keys. It was evident that the previous owner knew. Now they cant be found. They previous owner said he only had the house for a week and flipped it to me to make a large sum.in the end i was screwed im tryignto keep the home but dont know what to do and they call me everyday to harass me. If i call them they want to hear my story every time. Then tell me not our problem.
