I was offered a credit card for a one time fee of $19.95. During the conversation I was offered numerous deals. I agreed to a fee of 59.95 to be added to the credit card for discounts.
I never received a credit card and the company took a fee of $19.95, $59.95 and $99.95 from my checking account. The only fee that was authorized to be taken from my checking accont was $19.95.
When I contacted the company I was told time had expired for my complaint. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone in management or someone that could authorize reimbursement of funds.
I was told only the corporate office could authorize a refund and finally I was allowed to speak with someone else. I was told to write the corporate office and that they didn't have a phone no. For the corporate office but I was given an address.
After researching the phone no. That I had first contacted, I found out that I was already speaking with the corporate office. I have contacted the federal trade commission and my complaint is going to be investigated.
