CCS sent my boyfriend this credit catalog card to build his credit. Since its hard to establish credit he signed up for the 2 week trial-which they want your social security # and bank acct # in case you stay with them.
He sent a fax to cancel - thats what they said to do. Thought everything was fine until his account was drained $298 from CCS and over another $800 to $1000 from London, etc around the same time.
Bank refunded money except CCS waiting to see if they would reverse payment. Them knowing there was numerous fraudelent activity on account. So he left account open with like $2 and they finally reversed payment.
Then he got a bill with the $298 plus 2007 fee of $99 and a $80 late charge totalling $477.98 and hes never used the stupid catalog. Oh by the way they said they never got the fax. So this is what you get to try to build credit, big bill for nothing. Were hoping they dont ruin his credit and all this for him trying to build credit he didnt have yet. WOW they were a big help. They better be shut down like real soon. Oh forgot to mention he lost his apartment due to fraudelent activity on his account which took a month to fix everything from "someone" obtaining his personal info, etc. Happy new year!
