I have a direct deposit of my wages to the bank.
I pay my bills with HSBC website.
I make sure that there is enough cash in the checking account for the bills. When I checked after a week, I see that certain bills did not go through. I check again and they say that I didn't have enough money in the checking account and they charged me for an overdraft. I have had this problem before with my personal checks so I decided to do the HSBC website where I can actually see my account. I also find out that they allowed a charge to my credit account without my authorization. I reported the problem to them and I am waiting for a response. When I call their 800 number I get someone from India who has a heavy accent, so I don't understand what they are saying. How could the bank allow someone to handle bank busniess from India. I get these calls all the time. When I call the 800 number. I found out that it's cheaper for the bank to have people from across the globe to do my personal bank business. There should be a law against this.
