Ripoff Collecting $1,800 of proclaimed un paid city parking tickets Ripoff Brianna Lewis

I received a letter from Alliance One collection agency threatening to garnish my wages if I dont pay the unpaid parking tickets I owed the city of seattle and I was givin 72 hours to pay off my debet. I don' recall 10 unpaid parking tickets worth over 1,800. I would like some advice since I have received their letter yesterday.
Can they garnish my wages by law?
