United financial corp gave out my bank numbers don't fall for it closte

I was called by Carol Somer from United Financial one morning while I was asleep as I worked midnights. She told me that I was approved for an unsecured visa or mastercard with a limit of $3,000. She was extremely professional. This was not your normal noise in the background telemarketing call. I work in telemarketing as a systems administrator and know alot about the business. Although the company that I work for does not do scams.

I had applied for a number of credit cards as I was trying to build up some credit to be able to buy a house in the near future. She stated that United Financial was a financial institution that backs credit cards for people with no credit or less than perfect credit, because they themselves back the credit card, the banks are more willing to issue them to someone that has bad or no credit. I said I was interested and she said that the price was $299.00. I said "I don't have that kind of money right now, but this was within the range of most of the secured cards that I had applied for so I wasn't surprised by the amount. We agreed to a date of May 20th for the money to come out. I didn't have my debit card handy so I gave her my bank account numbers, but inadvertantly left out the last 2 numbers. They were still able to get the money out on the 20th.

Two weeks later I found out another company tried to get $199.00 out of my bank. The name of the company is Credit Choice/Medical Nor-Am 1-866-898-9018. I called this number and was told that I was on tape giving consent to this debit. I asked for them to play the tape knowing I hadn't consented to anything. They couldn't find that tape... Gee... I wonder why... MAYBE IT DOESN'T EXIST??? I told them what they did was illegal and they had better cease immediately.

They assured me that they would not bother me or my money again. They cancelled me in their system. I told them I was still reporting them to the Attorney General's office. I also asked how they got my account numbers and they refused to tell me saying they had no idea, when asked for another number for their company they had none, nor would they let me speak to anyone else higher up. I asked for an address and was given OLD TAPPEN, NJ. Another day that I called after they again tried to debit my account in July, they were again rude, gave no information but another address of P.O. Box 935 Bel Aire, MD.

I immediately called United Financial and asked them if they were affiliated with North American Medical. They repeatedly told me no and that they do not sell people's information as it was illegal. I still hadn't at this point gotten the benefits package from United Financial so I had nothing to bust them with. Although the two companies' phone numbers were very similar. And United Financial was the ONLY company I had ever given my bank account numbers to over the phone. I knew deep down they were the culprits. I just couldn't prove it. YET.

July first North American Medical for the second time tried to debit my account for $199.95 overdrawing my account some $470.00. I had been to my bank the first time and reported them as trying to illegally debit my account. They assured me it wouldn't happen again. Again I called my bank and raised hell, and then called North American Medical... Getting the same rude bitch from hell that I had previously talked to and she again recited her mantra of I don't know anything Ma'am in her cute foreign accent. I wanted to rip her head off. Some customer service. I had already been in contact with the FBI and reported all this and the Secret Service and I told her to watch out I was gunning for her.

The next day I received my "benefits package" from United Financial. Some benefits! A bunch of crap I didn't want or need. And none of the companies were even affiliated with United Financial. Basically advertisments. There was one thing that caught my attention. A postcard to activate my "stored value mastercard" Stored Value? What the hell is that I wondered? I looked it up on the internet. It's basically a debit card. I already have a debit card.

This was not what they told me I was getting. I called them of course and was assured by James that he had the same card and it was indeed a mastercard with a limit of $3,000. I also told James that I had found something very interesting on the postcard. A mailing address for their activation center. P.O. Box 935 Bel Aire, MD! I told him I thought you guys weren't affiliated with North American Medical? He said we're not. I said well isn't it funny that you both have the same addresses? He said yes that is strange. I told him I wanted a refund immediately. He said someone was going to call me the next day.

I am still waiting 3 days later. I have filed complaints with the FTC, FBI, SECRET SERVICE, ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN PA. I want my damn money back and all the NSF charges they cost me. Also my lovely bank closed my account and refused to allow me to open a new one. They refunded some charges, but not all. They basically didn't care about me being a victim of theft and they wanted to profit from it. I have a new bank now that seems better, but they are all money grubbing bastards as far as I'm concerned.

If United Financial calls... Hang up! They are liars and thieves!
