As did many others on here, I too filled out an application for a payday loan and was debited $159.95. Luckily my bank called my house and asked me about the charges, "due to the fact that this isn't the first time a fraudulent charge has been on my account." Well, I am already in the process of disputing the charges but in the meantime I am out of a lot of money. I live check to check and I support a family of 4. This company took my electricity payment. Not only did EDP take 160 dollars from me, but I also have overdraft fees from this and other bills that are pending. I am now negative 156 dollars in my bank account and 1 week late on rent. Thank you so much EDP.
I have already contacted a lawyer, I am gathering information needed to file a lawsuit. If anyone else would like to get in on this let me know.
