I am scared and desparate. My loan was also sold to Litton from Fremont Financial. Due to the sudden death of my mother I missed a payment. When I tried to contact Litton it seems impossible 60 phone calls over 3 months.
After the passing of my mother I tried to make a payment to Litton, which they refused to accepted. They wanted all. I tried to workout a forbarence with Litton, which is hard to do because they do not return phone calls. Litton field a note of default and then posted a note on my door the day before Christmas eve notifying me that my home will be auction on in 21 days (early January).
I am a single women in my early 40's with a very stable-well paying job. The sudden death of my mother put me into this unforseen situation. I am going to lose my home in a few days. I am still trying to get litton to respond to at least 1 of my 60 phone calls.
I feel like this is what they wanted. I wanted a loan modification. This situation has completely effected my health and wellbeing. Is there anything I can do to get them to respond. Help!
