I have fell victum to Calvary, Pallisades, and Pressler and Pressler. I had no idea that they need to verify the debt that I owed and I paid over $10K in total to those companies. Even though I paid them in full plus additional fees that they tacted on at the last minute they are still showing as unreleased judgements on my credit report and they are still bringing down my score.
Please let me know if there is any way I can recover that money and have the judgements removed from my credit report.
