I had written about Grant Research already, but just wanted everyone to know that they use different websites to filter money out of people. It is basicallly the same charge for the CD Rom that you are supposed to get for free, and like they stated, all you pay for this CD is the shipping and handling fees. I later found out, after doing more research through my credit card, that they did, in fact, swindle me out of money for the past several months. They only reversed back the most
recent transactions, but they need to reverse all charges back.
I am definitely going to keep calling them until they get this all straigtened out. They never told me about the past charges that were made to my account, until I brought it to their attention. They think they can still get money out of you, because they think nobody pays attetnion to their accounts. If you do research on your accounts, you better check your monthly statements for the last 6 months or longer. I found out that they started taking money off of one of my credit cards back in July up to this date. They only told me they would reverse three charges back, which were taken out for this past November.
I didn't even know that they had been charging my credit card for the prior months. If you call them, you need to ask them how far back they had been charging you. They have the information in front of them when they look up your account, but they fail to tell you about it (unless you ask)
I also found out that they were charging my credit card
under three different names.network agenda, grant search assistant, and another that they charge $5.95 for. They are all out of the same company. Everytime I call, all the reps sound like foreign people.india or Asian. Actually, I found four different charges on my credit card in the amounts of $29.95, $7.95, $5.95, and #3.97.
I called my credit card company and told them about this. I demanded grant search give me confirmation numbers for these reversals. I know I had been assessed overlimit fees in the amount of $30.00 on some of these statements on my credit card. (all because grant search was charging my credit card without my authorizaion) Also, I had never received any CD from this so-called company.
This is absolutely a SCAM!
