As I have read all your complaints here on this site I truely understand were all of you are coming from. Since December of last year when my old mortgage was sold to ASC I have nothing but headaches with this company. First off my old mortgage was sold to ASC with out my knowledge or without any type of notification.in December I made my payment to my old mortgage company like I always have. Soon after I had begun to recieve calls from ASC regarding my late payment. I was a little confused due to the fact I had no clue who in the heck was ASC! I called and spoke to someone and they told me they had bought my mortgage from my old mortgage company. I had told them that I had already sent my payment to the old mortgage company. I then in turn called my old Mortgage company and requested that they turn over this payment to ASC. They told me that they had no record of my Decembers payment. It is amazing how they can cash my check and still have no record of depositing my check! I had to get my bank statement and show them proof that they had deposited that money into their account. Still they felt this had to go into review then they would send them my payment. It took all of Jan, Feb, Mar, April and May. Finally on May 3rd they sent me my December's mortgage payment.in May I sent ASC my December's and May's payment in one check. During this 5 month period I recieved thousands of calls from ASC regarding my late payment and thier threat to send me to forclosure. Even though all my other payments to them were sent to them in a timely manner (before the 16th of each month) They knew of my circumstance and yet failed to rectify the situation. I had spoken to someone at ASC regarding the reported late payments and they told me not to worry about it. That they would take those reported lates off as soon as they recieved payments from my old mortgage company. I am refinancing my home only to find out that they have not taken those rolling lates off my credit report. Causing me not to get the loan or rate that i deserve due to these reported lates. Again I have sent them all my bank statements from December until now and they are researching it as we speak or are they?! Time will only tell. I just know they do not do what they say they will. Which is very frustrating to say the least. Last but not leastI made my first pay by phone payment on the 13th of last month and recieved a confirmation #. Thinking that everything was fine, I get a call from ASC saying they never recieved my Oct. Payment. I had them read back to me my account info. And the first part was great but the second half read back to me was foreign to me. Where in the heck did they get those #'S. Due to their lack of listening and accurate documentation they are really messing up. They need to get people in there that know what the heck they are doing! I just needed to share with you my story and my mutual understanding of how the most of you feel about this company.
