Midland Mortgage Company purchased my mortgage 2 years ago. Every since they took over, my payments have been reported as late. They even kept me from refinancing at another bank, because late to them is one day after your due date, not 30 1 like other mortgage companys.
They do not pick up their mail or if they do they wait an extended time to cash the checks. This month I discovered they decided not to cash our payment for last month, because I did actually fall behind it is their "policy" to only accept a payment and a half when you fall behind. I can not believe they would not accept a payment.
Watch out for this company they are eager to jump into forecloser by conducting business this way. I also have sent in four signed documents to have my spouse placed on my acct. And this has not happened either. I would never use this company, I regret the day Homeside sold our contract to them.
