Said that they had inside people that they could negotiate a repayment schedule so that I would not lose my home to foreclosure.
I completed all of their paperwork and paid them $1595.00 to speak with the decission makers at my mortgage company to stop my home from going to foreclosure. I was told that when they contacted the mortgage company and identified themselves as representing me. That everything would come to a stop until a settlement between myself and the mortgage could be completed.
After the fees were paid, I could not get them to return a call or an e mail. I told them that I had received an auction date, they kept saying that one had not been set that they were talking with the mortgage.
I recevied a certified letter from the mortgage company attorney giving me the date. I faxed it out to them because it was only 14 days away. Again, I could not get a return call. The case analyst Chris Eaton disappereaed after I paid my fees. The National Mediation Department, Tammy DiMola was just as difficult to reach and get a return call.
One week before the auction date I called Tammy again and left another voice mail, reminding her that the austion date was one week away. Again she said she had an offer which was the same one that the mortgage company offered me. I asked her if I should consult an attorney to file bankruptcy. She said she would call several that they work with and get back with me.
She did call me this time and gave me a name and telephone number and told me to contact the office.
I have now filed a Chapter 13 and the attorney I saw has never heard of this company and his fees to file were doubled because I only hace 5 days left.
