I had a credit card which sold my account to Juniper Bank. At the time they acquired my account I had a set amount devited automatically from my checking account each month. Juniper started immediately trying to debit my account for the entire balance of the card. Because there was not sufficient funds I began to get charges from the bank, as well as, late charges applied from Juniper. I wrote several letters requesting they pay the charges amd remove the late fees. I also offered to pay the full balance prior to the nonsense. I never received a response.
I had to close my bank account to stop the debit attempts and have not heard from them for 3 years. My last letter demanded a response from them. Now I am receiving letters from a collection agency demanding payment.
They have ruined my credit and refuse to engage in any conversation that would rectify the situation!
