Aspire Visa
Ripoff artist

I want to warn everyone in the USA not to get involved with Aspire Visa. They are a total rip-off, starting with the first purchase that you make. The company charges over-the-limit fees on late charges on the account, not on the actual things purchased with your card. I no longer use this card and have sent the company several letters and e-mail to get the finance charges taken care of on this account with no avail. I went as far as to cancel my account so I could get rid of some of the fees, but that seemed to make thing worse. I had a credit limit of $1000.00 on my card but never actually charged that amount, but I know have a balance of $1207.62 after sending the a payment of $500.00 on 10/8.

I have wrote several letters regarding my account to them offering a settlement on the account, but because they are so unprofessional they did not bother to contact me back about the account. I went as far as sending a e-mail to their website, but as of today I have yet to hear from someone. I wanted to get this resolved today so I call the customer service number. I spoke with 4 people that said that they could help me on this account but not 1 was able and tried to hand it off to someone else. I figured that I would have to go to the top myself and do their job for them, but the company who not give me any information the the person I needed to speak with to resolve the problem. The first person that I spoke with was Ms. Paula Carter who had no authority to make any arrangements on the account, so I asked for the supervisor, which is Nick Jones, who I spoke on the phone for over an hour and a half, with no progress. He did not want to give me any information on the manager of the department, but I stuck to it and got the name Russell Wood collections manager. I was told that he was not available but I stated to Mr. Jones I was not going to hang up until I had an physical address for Mr. Wood so I could send a ceritified letter to him because no one else seem to have any authority to do something about my account. He refused to give me a address or e-mail address, (like they were trying to hide something.) I then was transfered to a Jack Doson in the settlement department that also refused to give me a street address or email address. I was willing and trying to settle this account. This company is only out to rip people off and I plea with anyone who comes across a website with the words "Aspire Visa" run the other way.
