Several times Asset Acceptance has called and left messages on my answering machine implying they are watching my house and my family. The debt was charged off a few years ago and I am not even sure as to whether it is mine or not as I am a victim of ID theft since 1996. One time when I actually talked to them, they were worse than barracudas. I am becoming paranoid as they are trying to intimidate me into thinking they are running a surveillance on me. I am a disable person with a bad heart, but no lawyer wants to touch it. They will not supply me with original documents with signature or anything. I am not even sure who it is for. I have reported them to the FTC and Indiana Attorney General, but have not gotten word back from either agency, yet. What can I do?
