This company is horrible. I am considering a class action. Any lawyers interested? I have gotten late payments assessed just about every month, however, the bill is paid the following day after receipt. These are my complaints:
1. It takes over 10 days from the date of the statement to reach me.
2. It sometimes takes GE 3 weeks to "supposedly" receive my payment - which is mailed within a day of receipt
3. They have been adding a late charge of $35 to just about every bill
4. I also incur an additional finance charge, despite being on an interest free for a year set up.
5. Customer service is not customer service
6. I have written to GE on several occassions, including a chart of the date of statement, date statement received, date check was mailed (as it comes from my bank directly), date is was "supposedly" received - and yet no response
From this site, I can see that there are many people who are being screwed over with late payments and finance charges. It seems like this is common practice for GE. I am fed up and would like to sue them.
