This company, First Capital Consumers Group, will do anything and everything to get your money. Especially if you have given them bank info over the phone to receive your so called credit card. I did this very thing. They called on a Saturday saying that I was approved for a credit card with a $2000 limit, unsecured. I asked "How was I approved for that much, when other companies wouldn't approve me for $500 or even $250." They said, "When those companies decline you, it automatically comes to their office. "So, to make a long story short. I chose a one time membership fee of $199 to receive my card. They gave me a pin number and a phone number to get in touch with them if I had any further questions. I thought about what went on the rest of the weekend and then on Monday at work got on the internet and looked them up. Much to my suprise I find a letter about this company from a lady who has been waiting 6 months for her card. So I call my bank to cancel the check. A couple days later I look at my bank activities on the computer and found out that they did try and put it through. Then a week later, I received a non-suffiecent funds for $199. I went to my bank and told them that I haven't written a check for that amount. Well come to find out. First Capital Consumers Group tried to get the money using a different check number which I didn't authorize. So I had my bank put a stop payment on that check. Well just today they were able to get my $199 by using a different check number. So that goes to show you that company is a fraud and will do anything in their power to get your money. So if have just given them your bank info over the phone. You might as well go down to your bank today and close your account, because they will get your money. JamesUnion City, California
