I recently got a offer for an Aspen Mastercard in the mail, I returned the acceptance certificate and they mailed me out a card but said it would not be activated untill I mail them twenty dollars. Well I sent them a money order and they said they never recieved it. Not only that it is hard to get through to there customer service number and when you do, they hang up on you. What do they do, pay there employees to hang up on people or harrass them every time you call to check on status of your account. I didn't trust them when it said send in the twenty dollars and then they would activate the account but I had bad credit and was desperate for a credit card. They said that they never recieved the money order and that they couldn't activate my account until they recieved payment, so like a fool I relunctantly sent in another 20 and they still said that they didn't recieve it. I have just gave up on trying to fight it but how in the world can a company get away with something like this?
