I was recently accepted for the aspen mastercard. They told me that there was a twenty dollar processing fee and that after I paid it would be activated. I paid by check and it still wasnt activated. I called there and they told me there was insufficient funds in my account and would need to send another payment.
I sent a money order in on december 8 and still the card wasnt working. I called again several times to complain and the operator would tell me that they couldnt hear me or would just hang up. Finally after several times of going through this I was told that they hadnt recieved it and that I should send another one.
I told them that I would not do this because this was already twice that I had payed. So they told me put a trace one the money order. I said that I would do that andthat I wanted the account kept open until this was resolved. Then about a week later they sent me a letter cancelling my account but it was from a totally different company freedomcard which is also out of a different state.
I dont know what is going on. But I know I feel like I got scammed. I cant find the stub to the money order so I guess theres nothing I can do.
