U S Bank
US Bank ripoff, stole my money

On Aug 11 I deposited a paycheck that did not seem to clear till the fifteenth, also on Aug 15 before the check cleared I incurred $140 of overdraft fees I did not know about, so I made a few debit card purchases and the fees started to soar.

I finally found out on Aug 17 when I found my weekly check and a note from U S Bank in my mailbox while on my way to cash my check at the bank. Needless to say I didn't deposit anything there, cause they would just suck it right up. I did talk to a rep and he removed two charges out of many that were racked up by then, big deal! I also called the 800 number to complain, but those people can't do anything anyway, except the person did agree with me that I was getting ripped off and the bank was stealing my money. She also said this was happening very often to more people in recent times-go figure.

So from that conversation I learned that I must talk to my account manager where I opened the account and I did, Mark asked if I had any money coming in, yes, my military disability check on Sep 1: he said he would take that and get my acount in the black again.

This has not happened-he lied to me-and now I am pi*ed of. This is not the first time that a bank has ripped me off. They sneek in maintence fees for free checking, hold deposits too long, give you false balances when you call and when you do atm balance inquiries. Most banks suck and are there to make a profit for the share-holders (the new valued customer) at our expense!

Banks have recently made oodles of cash from these fees which have also increased by 25% the last few years. Class war? Or just a new way to create "revenue generation"? And this deal letting you make pin/debit purchases with a negative balance "to save you embaressment" is plain b* used to create more overdraft/NSF fees. Not that I'm perfect I'll pay the fees and have, but this is just corrupt on the banks part.

Now to you people that may question my responsibility-f% you, home schooled Patrick Henry college candidates! Also rich people do not keep money in plain old banks, they use money markets, investment firms and stocks. If you were rich would you open a savings account for 2.5% interest.

Watch for my next rant on why Affifity health care refused to give me copies of my medical records and other health care and insurance fraud. P.S. Critiques of my grammar and punctuation are welcome LOL.
