My parents have started receiving harassing phone calls from this company in reference to me (a month now). Steve Barker has called and left the number of (866) 720-1476 several times. My parents have an unlisted number and have had one since 1988. They have been very rude and called us liars. I am not always there and they accuse my parents of lying to them.
It is totally unappreciated and the harrassment has to stop. I guess they have nothing better to do, than call people and try to rip them off. They call all day, night, weekends and holidays. I do not own any credit cards and I live with my retired parents, so I have no bills.
I answered the phone yesterday - on LABOR Day - and after repeating "hello" for a couple of minutes, some lady said "Hello Leslie" and I said "yes" and she said that she need to talk to me about a personal business matter. I said "ok" what is it that you need to talk about. She asked me for my social security number and telephone number.
First I stated that I would under NO circumstance give her my social security number and she should know the telephone number, since she just called me on it. She refused to give me any PERSONAL information, she just said that she needed to talk to me about a personal business matter. I told her that I had NO idea what she was talking about and until she verified what she was talking about, I would not volunteer any of my information, she refused to do so, so I simply told her not to call back, until she was ready to talk. After reading all of this, I guess I should brace myself and my family for a long bumpy road with them.
I would like to know who to report them to for harassing phone calls. They are just ridiculous, because I do not owe anyone any money. I would like to join in on any action taken against this company.
