They have charged us for insurance we proved we had on our own. They did this on two seperate occassions and our insurance agent had proof that he had previously sent them documentation of our insurance.
They repeatedly told us we owed them thousands of dollars with no show of why.
They paid our propery taxes which i then double paid and am supposed to come up with money to pay them for this "escrow" account we never had.
On attempting to call Ocwen and straighten out the billing problems myself i stayed on call for an hour or more just to be hung up on. So i emailed them on two seperate occassions and received replies that answered almost none of questions.
Due to my being laid off and my wife being disabled she called and asked for any kind of extension and was told "we are only giving extensions to hurricane victims."
After missing that payment we received a bill stating we owed like $10k. So she called again and asked what was going on and was told that was all of the late fees that were owed on the account. Funny we werent behind until then (unless you count the "escrow" we never wanted. She then proceeded to ask if they would file foreclosure since we missed a month and was told "it wont be a problem as long as you don't miss three consecutive payments we wont foreclose on you"...
She then asked well what if we can only send a partial payment and was told "even a partial paymanet counts as a payment" After sending in our July payment my wife tried to call seeing as the payment has not cleared our bank and although the line was answered she was hung up on multiple times. The last phone conversation was approx one month and 2 weeks ago now they have filed foreclosure and we are one month behind."
