I have a debt with CitiCards (CitiCorp) of which was turned over to this agency for collection. I have been harassed, as have members of my family. They have contacted relatives and discussed this personal matter with them, as well as anyone answering the phone at relatives homes. They threatened one elderly handicapped relative that if she did not discuss the matter with me they would bring legal action. This relative being prone to seizures was left a mess. They continue to call her house and harass her even after she advised them to stop. They have left messages for people not on the account or even a party to the matter. I have recorded messages wherein they threaten to contact my neighbours.
When speaking to UCB I have been screamed at, and they have made lewd and egregious comments. They have left messages at home for my young children to hear. They repeatedly call from very early in the AM and continuing throughout the day. Not only at my home and work but at numbers that they obtained illegally. Numbers belonging to relatives that are unlisted.
I will not deal with them in any way shape or form. As my obligation is with CitiCards, that is who I will deal with - or no one at all!
It would appear that while we all from time to time encounter some financial difficultues, there is no reason for these low life individulas to treat anyone like this!
