To all that were victims! I was too! I felt so slighted that I started to do more research into the mortgage industry and actually became a Mortgage Banker... Not to be confused with a broker, who by the way is not obligated to reveal the total costs to do a loan or mortgage.
They are only obligated to reveal THEIR costs. They can offer anything they want because the are not the actual direct lender. Anyway...
The truth is that these people are liars.
They will say anything to obtain a commitment and then the old bait and switch happens. I will be totally honest with you. I work for a very large lender and am now a little biased, but regardless of if you go with us or another top tier lender you should NEVER go with this company. Pre-payment penalty... Um WHY?
They do not control the markets where rates come from so why should you be obligated to stay with them if the market changes?
They make the money off the interest not the fees! (Oh they do make some money but not the bulk of it!) Customer service is key when you deal with the most important purchase of your life. Rates come from the same place people! No magic to it. Your rate is determined by 4 factors 1. Ltv 2. Dti 3. Assets and 4. Credit score. If you don't qualify on some or all of those you will not get premium pricing determined mostly by federal guidelines. If you do then great but no lender should give you a great rate just based on your score! I will tell you this... For everyone that qualifys with 2 or 3 of the factors I can get you a loan but that doesn't mean you if you have a 529 score you're going to get the best pricing and rate!
Do not go with any lender with a penalty fee that doesn't back it up with a low cost or no cost refinance! Do not go with a lender that does not back a gfe with a ird (interest rate disclosure) if i can qualify you i will...
If I can't I won't duck your calls like the COWARDS at this company. Liars, theives and untrustworthy. Notice there is only one employee backing this company... Only 1!
