On July 13 I was contacted via phone from a representative from USA Credit saying I was pre-approved for a credit card with a credit limit of 7500.00 dollars.
After asking some questions about my address, email address and what bank I used, he then asked for personal information starting with my social security number.
Warning flags then starting flying and I refused to give it to him. He then said, have a good day and hung up. I do believe this was an attempted scam/Identity theft.
