possible about yourself (i.E. Name, e-mail address, mailing address, etc.), the perpetrator, and the fraudulent act that you are reporting in order to
expedite your complaint.
After you file a fraud complaint with the Internet Fraud
Complaint Center, the information will be reviewed by an analyst and forwarded to all law enforcement agencies with jurisdiction. It is then at the discretion of
those law enforcement agencies to take further action. The complaint information is also maintained in a database for statistical purposes and/or to be tied to other complaints against the same subject.
