We were looking for a loan and had no established credit and ran across Jane and Finch through an internet search. A person by the name of Richard Hammond called us and went over the details and said we were approved for $9,000. But since we had no established credit they would have to go through private investors and we would have to put up collatoral of $834 which represented 3 months payments. Like dummy's we did this via moneygram to a Canada address. We were told as soon as they received the funds they would deposit the loan amount into our account within 24 hours. The following day they called and said their was a discrepancy with the credit report and what had been submitted, so we would have to sent another $834 for insurance before the funds could be released. NOw, nothing had been submitted and we had no credit report because we had no credit history. At this point a refund was requested and we were told it would be the 30th before it could be sent. Since this we have discovered that the 800 number given is a virtual office where you are calling a service then your call is forwarded to another number while you are listening to a recording. The phone number listed under the whois for the registrar for their domain name has been disconnected.
