Lending Tree
Ripoff took 400 dollars and lied to me to 100% guaranteeing me a loan

My wife looked into a loan, this man calls me from lending tree and during one of the intial loan explanations we asked if I had a premanufacured home and I said yes, He then said if you have an existing loan through GMAC then they could do the same he even told me he confirmed this with his boss, Well this Scott Rodriguez calls me and tells me the loan wasn't going to go through, which I new it wasn't but he guaranteed me everything was fine or I wouldn't even have gone through with this. I have e-mail where I told him I wasn't going to go through with it but he said it would be best if I did.

Well I called his Boss who tells me Scott said he told me they didn't want to go through with the loan but I got proff. I told him no why was he calling me 100 times a day at work and at home and e-mailling me tellig me to combine loans and it would be best if he told me ot to do it, They are caught in their own lies and ripping me off is the worse thing they could have doen. Here is the E-mail copied into the page, Mine is the one on the bottom which states my wife and me were not going to go through with this then you can see his reply tellim me why it would be so much better, if in fact he told me they wouldn't do the loan why is it he was so persistan in the E-mail, read it for your self.

Hi Dan,

I think your loan is actually at 11 years 4 months left on it. The creditreport reflects it as a 15 year loan started in the later part of 2002. I also see the second mortgage being tied to Prime which is an adjustable
interest rate that has gone from 4% to 8% in the last 18 months. If we combine the two loans into one loan, it will take you out of the adjustable interest rate for the second your in now over the next 10 plus years you
would have to be subjected to that and condense it into 1 loan at a fixed interest rate with a lower payment. If you calculate the numbers, if you continue to make the payment you are use to now, on the new loan that has
the lower payment, the difference in payment would offset the loan to be paid off in the 11th year, 6th month, which is where it looks like you are with your current mortgage now. Final result, you get out of an adjustable rate adjusting over the next however many years you would be in it for, putboth loans into one loan, one payment, fixed. And the loan would be paid
off at the same time due to the lower payment by combining the two loans.

I definitely still see a useful benefit in this loan for you, simply getting out of a high interest rate that has the ability to go higher over the next so many years you would be in it.

Let me know if this makes sense to you. If this turns out to not be what you want, I will understand but I definitely see a big plus in securing your loans together.

Please write back or give me a call to let me know what you think.

Scott this is Danny, My wife and I talked this over and we did some numbers all weekend and we have decided to not go through with this. We justdon't want to loose the time we already have in our current loan and would
make no sense to go back to 15 years when we only have 9 more to go, it is not worth the loss.

We both appreciate your time and your quick response on every question we have had. If we do any future business we will definitely use your company.

Again thanks for all your hard work and quick response and for being very cooperative and explanatory on all issues we did discuss.
