My husband and myself were looking into buying our first home and we had some credit issues we had to clear up first. The next day we recived a phone call from a man saying he had been refered to us by * homes to help us clear up our bad credit. He said we could get a major credit card that we could use to help us build credit. He then said all we had to do is pay a one time fee of two hundred dollars, he could debit out of our bank account, we would be reciving our card soon.
We thought that since they wre reffered to us then it was legitiment we had no idea we wre getting scamed. We soon recived our comfermation letter in the mail and soon realized it was not what we were told. We have written a letter and called and keep getting the run around from this company.
Apparently we are not the only people taken advantage of. Why has noone stopped this company. Taking money from people who really dont have it to give. We were just wanting to provide a better home for our chidren (4). Now we are out 200 dollars we could really use to feed our 4 children.
