The National Credit Shopper (NCS) sent me a card in the mail saying that I have been approved for a Visa with a credit line of $4,000.00 and all I had to do was to call their toll free number. I called the number and they asked for an activation fee of $200.00. They withdrew the amount from my checking account. I then received a Diamond Select card to shop out of their catalog. I called the customer service number on numerous occasions. All I got was a automated answering service. I then called the toll free number that was supposed to active my Visa. I explained to them that I was misled and wanted my $200.00 back. They told me to call the customer service number. I tried to explain to them that I have been trying to reach someone from their customer service number for a week. They then told me that I'm not calling during business hours. I proceeded to get upset and told them that I have tried calling the customer service number several times a day for a week at different times. They refused to help me and told me the only way they will sent my Visa to me is by purchasing items from their catalog totally at least $100.00. Stupid me should have know better. I have never dealt with a situation like this before. I then ordered items out of their catalog totalling almost $200.00. I sent them the order form and a check for $60.53. I never heard from them or received my merchandise. They never even sent me a bill for the rest of the total. I have tried to call them from the toll free number again. No one will help me. I keep getting the run around. I just want my money back. I am a young mother that doesn't make enough money spare. I tried looking up a web site for (NCS), and that's when I came across this rip-off site. Sure enough, (NCS) was listed with several other complaints. Will someone please help me. I have trouble enough paying my rent. I was brought up with the understanding that honesty is the best policy.in this case, these people don't know what honesty is. It's hard to teach my toddler to be a good and honest person when there are people like at (NCS) out there hurting innocent bystanders. ArleneAnaheim, California
