We hired JK Harris over two years ago, gave them our entire savings (approx. $3000) and they have done absolutely nothing. My husband's secretary did not pay payroll taxes for several years and did not tell him. We only found out several years later, after they put a federal lien on us.
Our credit is shot, we can't buy a home, we are ruined! No one seems to be able to help us. We live in fear that the IRS will take what little we have left, which is my husband's paycheck and our cars, which we are still paying for.
We have talked to an accountant, and he didn't know what to do. We contacted our local JK Harris branch, and they said they couldn't do anything. We live in East Texas and there do not seem to be tax attorneys around here.
Please let us know if there is any help or class action suit. We are ready to get this off our backs, if possible. The penalties accrued will be dangerously high and I don't know if we'll ever get out from under this dark cloud!
