I wanted to repair my credit and I was looking for a good credit card company. I recieved a phone call from this company who I thought was a credit card company. After the representative finished his presentation, he proceeded to tell me that I needed to give him my bank information for verification. Then he informed me that $200 would be debitied from my account. I agreed and the naxt day the money was taken from my account.in a week I recieved an envelope with a catalog and a credit card, also a letter thanking me for joining capitial financial.
I called the company to cancel the service and get my money back. I was told I had to send a written request and I ahould recieve a refund within five to seven business days. Well, I did just that and all I recieved in five to seven business days, was a letter stating they needed a copy of my bank statement and a reason for my dispute.
I provided all information and recieved another letter stating my refund is non-refundable. They never stated that to me in the phone conversation. Now I do not know what else to do, because they said they listened to the recording and their agent did not misrepresent the company. But they did because they never stated that the money was non-refundable, they also never stated that they are a catalog merchant credit card company. Please someone help me.
