I get a credit report about every 3 to 6 months ever since I bought my first house and had tons of fraudulent debts. Some were not even in my name, it literally took me 8 months to get them cleaned out and I still haven't gotten Transunion cleaned. Suing them this summer.
Anyway I just received my equifax report and for the first time a unfavorable and fraudulent debt appears from Alfi, Inc. For 65 dollars with a last date of report 01/01. You seriously have to be kidding me? Why would any company want to risk the ramifications of a fraudulent debt, which this can only be.
Alfi... If I have any adverse affects due to this record the law suit just for damages alone would make this 65 dollars look like one of the worst decisions you can make, what can you be thinking? Your people obviously don't do there homework, or like all other collection agencies out there you are highering the uneducated and the unempowered. To all who encounter these like idiots... Document, document document, take names and times you call, do your research (they don't) and sue, its the only way to make them honestly report.
