Well, to make a sad story short I will just focus on some major details. I was going oversees for a course for 4 weeks, same time I needed to close escrow on a house deal. As usual everything came together at the very last day. I needed to transfere some $ from my overdraft Wells Fargo Visa into my account.
I called up Wells, Customer service told me cannot do it, computer says NO. I had 15k available on my visa, however customer service officer said my credit rating was low. Since I could check my credit instantly on line I rebutted his statement, my average score was 690 or good. Anyway, after that I checked online myself and the computer would not allow a transfer.
Next day, Saturday, I checked again and the computer would let me do a transfer?!? The computer, online, would tell me that I could transfere a maximum of 15k. So I did. The difference was that it cost me over $600, that would not be the case if the customer officer could have done it, just would have taken 1.. 3 days for the transfere.
In addition, I was charged an overdraft fee, although the wells online system told me that I could transfere 15k. It is very clear to me that Wells Farge is setting up a trapp to milk their customers. This is not the case with other banks. I wish Wells would leave Arizona, because the are not honest to their customers.
