I too feel ripped off by overdraft fees that have cost us almost 1000.00 in last 3 months. We also had our loan bought by them. Just as several people noted we have had 2-3 items out and WF posted largest amount first then caused lots of overdrafts. Yesterday checked amt on line and showed overdrawn by 220.00 but no mention of fees. RAN to the bank and deposited 325.00 in CASH and got mail today showing 6 fees at 33.00 each. Then if you use the direct deposit advance they suck up your whole check. When I called my local branch and asked for branch manager I was told only the service manager was in. I asked to speak to that person and was told to call back tomorrow to speak to branch manager.
What is a SERVICE MANAGER and I was told that person did not help customer with service, just tellers. What kind of cr-p is that? I had not even told the woman why I was calling. Well she said either call tomorrow or call the 800 number. I will be closing this acct and have already contacted someone to refiance my loan.
