Fraudulent excessive charges, Rude, incompetent representatives ripoff Sacramento

Ever since Homeq Servicing obtained my loan one month after we refinanced our home it has been a nightmare.

They will not work with people. They add excessive charges to your loan it you get behind, and they can't even justify it and tell you that they don't have to, that they don't have to answer to anyone. I was on a forebearance plan with Homeq; my house payment is supposed to be $570.00 a month. We agreed that I would pay $875.90 for 5 months to catch up the arrears and get current.

However, when we made the agreement and I was told that I ahd to make the payment by the 3rd of the month or it would revert back to original foreclosure, I told the person that I could not guarantee the payment on the third because we have to relay on my husbands commision check and that he gets paid every 2 weeks and that whatever date the first 2 week pay period of the month fell on is when I could make the payment.

I was told, no problem, just call us and inform us of that, and we will work with you, we don't want your home. So that is what I did, I called and told them that the March commision check would not be received until the 10th. The person that I talked to said that this was not acceptible and that if I did not do a payment by phone that the plan would go in to default, foreclosure would start again, and that more charges would be added.

I took my chances, and did the payment by phone. I had paid my car insurance the same day and sat back and prayed that if anything was returned by my bank, that it would be my insurance and that I could work that out.instead it was the house payment.

I called immediately and told Homeq what had happened and that I would overnight the payment which I did, on the 14th (had to borrow it, but I got it), I was told that it didn't matter, I was still in default and that foreclosure proceedings would start back immediately.

I am now trying to figure out how I am going to come up with whatever fees that they are going to add to this to save my home by the 28th of this month. I have told them that I could send them the $1180.00 plus this month, which they have already upped my payment from $570.00 to $591.00 a month (said it is for escrow), but now they want all of this other money, legal fees, etc.

You cannot talk to these people. I have gone through this before with them when my husband lost his job, we came up with all of the money that they wanted and we couldn't pay our other bills. We are considering trying to file bankruptcy, we really don't know what to do. All I know is that you cannot deal with these arrogant individuals, I don't even try anymore, all they do is stress you out and play their games.
